9 people you should avoid falling in love with

IMG_0402

1. Do not fall in love with people whose bodies are littered with land mines that bloody your hands each time you touch them.

2. Do not fall in love with people whose “I love yous” mean “I love fucking you”.
It’s not their fault. They tend not to know the difference.

3. Do not fall in love with people whose gaze pierces your chest with lightning.
It will blind your heart and you will leak out of yourself.

4. Do not fall in love with people who belong to other people.
Fall in love with people who have never known belonging. Show them.

5. Do not fall in love with people who want to make you theirs.
Fall in love with people who let themselves be yours.

6. Do not fall in love with people who feed you with their fingers.
When they leave you will know what it is to starve.

7. Do not fall in love with people who kiss you so hard it gives you your breath back and stains your teeth with blood from their tongue.

8. Do not fall in love with people who love you so hard it bruises your ribs.

9. Do not fall in love with people like me.

Or for the most part you could have just summed it up with “avoid falling in love”. -_-
    Here’s where I am:-

    1. Fall in love with people whose bodies are littered with landmines; let your hands get bloodied while you scour their flesh for triggers to defuse. Grass grows over battlefields too.

    2. Fall in love with people whose gaze pierces your chest with lightening. You are too full of yourself anyway. And you need to learn how to close your eyes, so you can begin to dream.

    3. Fall in love with people who are not afraid to belong to other people. People who have never known belonging may never want to know.

    4. Fall in love with people you are not too afraid to belong to.

    5. Fall in love with people whose absence can teach you what it is to starve, so that you may know what it is to finally be satiated.

    6. Fall in love with people whose love pours itself into your veins, gouges its way under your ribs. Fall in love with people who can leave a mark on more than just your skin.

The core issue is falling in love, not with whom. The pain is inevitable and that’s the best part.

This is beautiful, yet frightening. I am in love with someone like this. It sounds stupid to love someone who treats you this way but sometimes it’s intoxicating.
