Loose change in the twilight – Bombay, May 2001

It will take:

More than time
More than tears
More than space
More than love
More than life
More than another
More than a mistake

To let you go.

I knew when, found
Was a strand of curled copper
That could only have been yours
In my coat pocket,
One twilight,
When I took out the change.
